Abhijit G.

I’m Abhijit Gune. My journey with Martial Arts began in my late 20’s. Back then I was learning Shaolin Kung Fu for 5 years, first in India and later in Sri Lanka. I’m learning Wing Chun Kung Fu and Qigong from him for almost 3 years. As an instructor, I had to be sure of what I’m teaching and hence I had to practice myself a several times. To simplify the methods to teach complex techniques to student is a challenge at times. But the high point is to see a big surprise on a students face when he or she discovers the power within by applying the Wing Chun Principles and techniques. It’s a matter of great joy to see the transformation of a student from a skeptical, unsure person to a confident individual.

His Motto : I feel there is no shortcut to learn a martial art or Qigong. Patience, perseverance and turning failure into learning are key to one’s progress.

Jigar P.

hi, My name is Jigar Patel and I have been in IWCA for more than a year now. I understand that Qigong and Wingchun are very unique skills than others since both teach us to rely on internal strength and structure rather than external muscles. Qigong and Wingchun are very practical and highly applicable in real life scenarios. It is really good experience as an Instructor since I got all the training support from IWCA team. I learned many things, which deepened my skills and improved my techniques. Every day is a learning for me since I get learn better as I train other students.I am passionate about learning new things and pass on that to my student as they train.
