Here, you will begin your Return to Health Journey with 16 simple yet effective Qi-Gong workouts. One performs these exercises while standing at one place or sitting on a chair. These workouts can be performed anywhere and at any time. They can be done at home, in office or in open spaces. All you need is comfortable clothing, a yoga mat (if you have it handy) and dedication.

  • These 16 easy yet effective workouts take minimal time and can be practiced at any place, any time with little or no equipment.
  • These exercises involve stretching; twisting and bending that will improve your flexibility, work on the health of your vital internal organs and improve mental focus.

Activate the Harmony with 8 Pieces of Silk Brocade Qi-gong (Ba Duan Jin)

The Baduanjin qigong is one of the most common forms used as exercise. Variously translated as Eight Pieces of Brocade, Eight-Section Brocade, Eight Silken Movements or Eight Silk Weaving, the name of the form generally refers to how the eight individual movements of the form characterize and impart a silken quality (like that of a piece of brocade) to the body and its energy.

Ba Duan Jin is comprised of eight gentle movements that are relatively simple yet very effective and can be practiced at any place or time. It can be learned by people of all ages. Baduanjin is primarily designated to improve overall physical health. Slow and gentle, Baduanjin movements help open the flow of energy in meridians and tone the tendons, ligaments & muscles. It also helps improve the function of the vital internal organs and improve mental focus. Martial artists frequently use Baduanjin as a supplementary exercise.
